Ekaterina Bodyagina is a freelance investigative journalist. Since the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022, she has been reporting extensively on the consequences of the war. Her investigative work also focuses on sexualized violence against women. As a result of two of her investigations in this area, the perpetrators were removed from their positions.
